    Ensure timely communication of any fault events in line with departmental and Companywide escalation Procedures.
    Provide Technical Expertise on Prepaid and VAS Risk Management and Revenue Assurance as well as attend to Audit items raised by Internal/External Auditors on the Prepaid and VAS nodes.
    Oversee the Implementation of new VAS & IN products and solutions
    Assume the role of tier II escalation point for faults within the Prepaid and VAS nodes
    Take on any other tasks that are assigned form time to time.

BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Child Rights Governance Advisor (01 position) -Re-advertised

Duty Station; Country Office (Kampala) Job Purpose:

The Child Rights Governance Advisor plays a key role in the direction and coordination of the CRG programming section. As a member of the Extended Senior Management Team in Uganda, the CRG Advisor is responsible for the development of high quality, innovative programmes that deliver immediate and lasting change for children, and monitoring the quality of the implementation of CRG programme activities. The Advisor will also play a key role in developing the advocacy priorities for the CRG programme area and participating in advocacy, particularly at the national level. He or she also will support the recruitment, training and mentoring of staff under CRG Thematic area.


Requirement:

    Minimum of Bachelors' Degree in Social Sciences, Education, Law, Development Studies, Emergency and Disaster Management of a relevant field.
    Post Graduate training in Project Management, Community Development and Monitoring & Evaluation will be an added advantage.
    Minimum of 8 years progressive experience in programme implementation with at least 3 years at management level in an International NGO.
    Thorough understanding of approaches- to Child Participation, Child Rights Programming, Partnership Management, Programme Integration, Monitoring and Evaluation.
    Demonstrated financial planning and budget management skills are a MUST.
    Demonstrated proposal writing and development and analytical skills are a MUST.
    Demonstrated knowledge of international and local frameworks relating to their thematic area. Highly developed cultural awareness and ability to work well in an international environment.
